Hours of Operation:

The Transfer Station will be open every Saturday from May until September from 8am - 3pm except holiday weekends.

How much can you bring to the transfer station? One cubic yard (around a level pickup full) only one trip per day.

Do I need a permit?  Yes - Residents must first obtain a window sticker from the town office. The permits are $3.00 and are valid for 2 years. (except we're into the second year so it only cost $1.50.)

The office is open Mondays through Thursday, 9 AM to 12:30 PM, and 1:30-4 PM.

RE: Tire Disposal

The Town of Manheim Transfer Station on Route 167 is accepting old tires. Residents of the Town of Manheim are encouraged to bring all old tires to the transfer station for proper disposal.

The fee for tire disposal is as follows:

(1) Car tires, 16" and under.......................................$2.00 per tire

(2) Truck tires...........................................................$5.00-$8.00 per tire
